GREETINGS - A POEM

I heard the voice from a lover’s heart
I knew you were a lover right at the start
Of the moment in time when you came to me
Speaking from across the vast unknown sea

And the tenderness of your soul of smiles
Coupled with your captivating wiles
Captured an otherwise elusive being from afar
By brightening his way like a wandering star

And the friendship that arose out of the blue
Surpassed anything we hitherto knew
With shades of a thousand nuances of thought
Weaving a fabric which has successfully caught

The agony and the ecstasy of all our years
Filled our hearts with joy, wiped away our tears
So friend from across the seas and another land
I offer you in friendship this caring hand.

Wow this was a great poem, except for the last verse it could be in a card or whatever!
It is wonderful to send out these feelings across the spanse of space, ocean and time!
Good work

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....
