My hatred for myself grows deep inside my heart. My strength weakens as I slowly fall apart. Thoughts of you haunt me all through the night. I crouch in my corner and hold myself tight. The madness gets stronger each and every day. The madness is taking me far, far away. I fear that my life has ended, and with nothing to show. I cringe in my little corner as my lonely tears flow. These tears fall like rain drenching me with sorrow. Now i realize that there is no tomorrow. The storm is passing, the madness subsided. Blood mixed with tears, my torch is unlighted. |

~First,...Tearsinheaven, Welcome here!!! This poem is heartwrenching. Really,...what you need to do is let it all out here and just watch the support you get from your fellow poets. This place is wonderful. You WILL see the sunshine again...your life has not ended. Although I don't know you, I have felt like this poem describes and although I still have pain,...gosh,...tons of it,...I still find beauty in the sun. I still want life. This really is an intense expression of despair. Is it about you? I hope you are OK. Please don't let things get you down. There is light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can't see it yet! yes yes welcome to the darkness of my soul. i understand how you feel about three years ago i lost the girl of my dreams and ever sense then i been missing parts of my mind. and feel traped within myself. enjoyed the read and i hope you gain light in your life and then maybe you can help this Lost soul fine the dimness of some light. Hi, there.. Welcome to Dark Passions I guess all of us here share some of that pain you have. Hope we can help to make you feel better. Writing does tend to help. Just having other people that are going through the same things , and sharing with them tends to help a bit Keep on writing |
