a word.... i am pissed the hell off today.  if you are a man, don't take it personal.

Waste of Your Time

I choose to keep my anger,
My hate.
Helps me stay hard to the wares,
Snares of Love and its messenger---
Men.

So this is where I shall stay.
Angry even at my Creator above.
For they are all too young,
Too old,
Already in love,
Burned til cold.
Try all you like,
'Til blue in the face.
Nothing you say, and/or profess
Will make me surrender this
State of being,
I confess.
Rage has become my friend, you see.
For by the spoon it was fed to me.
With Love as the gravy,
I became the biscuit.
Left not one drop unconsumed.
And now I bathe in it,
It washes me mean.
I emerge sparkling,
With a blinding hate.
A mad, almost insane gleam twinkling
In my eyes.
Never before have I turned so many
Heads.

So this is where I shall stay.
In one ear and out the other,
Preach on, my brother.
I have heard it alllllllllllll
A time or another.

Across the gateway of my heart,
I wrote "No Thoroughfare!!"
But love came laughing by and
Cried "I enter everywhere!!!"

let that anger flow. You know there are some out there a small number who the give the rest of us a bad name. I hope that you will meet on the nice men out there.
a  great poem, loved the biscuit image, take care. And don't take any grief from him, hope you find an angel not a preacher.

Yes, ok...we're evil.  By my own admission, i have done some not so nice things for reason i dont understand.  But i think we all do things for which we had no understandable reason.  Or maybe i had a reason?  Maybe he had a reason?

Well I bet you have a real good reason to be mad. I too have heard it all a time or another. This was a great poem. I hope you feel better having let it out.

Kyder,
Great poem, and many of us have felt that way. Not only women, though. Somehow people always seem to get attracted to people who hurt them. But there ARE nice ones out there!

Woooooooow! Kinder, it's amazing!!!
I could have never ever said it better myself! I just read it in one breath...
And what a great style!!! I can't even pick my favourite lines coz it's sooooo good all together!
Except for in between
"For they are all too young,
Too old,
Already in love,
Burned til cold
try all you like
Til blue in the face..."
You forgot - Married!!!
AAAAAahhhhh!
(But I guess it was covered by "already in love")
GREAT, GREAT and once again - GREAT!!!
Peace! Hope for you and me and all the female population of earth it will improve...

Hi Kynder, I think it's cool that this poem came back, you speak for all of us women at some time or another. (Many times, in my case.)

~Good gosh, gracious me Kynder!!! WoW. Spew away the hate gurl. I realize this is one from a while back (and hopefully you are feeling better) but what emotion in this. It bleeds. "It washes me mean.",...what a line. So many incredible lines. Superb work. Take care you. *Peace.
