Listen,
I know you think
about this too.
Don't pretend
to be so strong.
Can't you see him
over there in the distance,
glass slipper in hand?
(trying to find you)
Haven't you noticed;
way down deep inside
you are always
waiting?

Can't say that I am, Sandra. haha
you see,
I'm the one holding the glass slipper

love it kid.

Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Hey Joel, if you have the slipper, you better bring it on out here so we can all try it on..

I like your poem, but want you to know that I've given up looking for that Prince with the glass slipper. He's over there, ogling the young girls, wooing them with his smile, his sportscar, the gold chains around his neck, his high-powered job..I'll just sit here tending the ashes in the fireplace.

Hey Catalina....wash your tootsies and paint those toenails......glass slipper on the way.  And the Prince Charming over there ogling the young girls?  He's overcompensating for his lack of personality.  Hitching up my 1987 PumpkinMobile....now let's see, where do I keep those white mice?  Nice work....Hardrock

Hardrock, you are too funny. OK toenails are ready to go, where's my slipper?
PDV, I have given up on that too, but it seems to always stay inside, giving that feeling of incomplete.
And the guy ogling the young girls and showing off, well hes not the prince at all, hes just some pale imitator

this is a great piece and if you keep waiting he will come when you need him the most but until then there are always your friends here to help you out along the way.

Hey Catalina
I love this and could have related a few years ago
but I found my prince hiding right in front of me.
It took me a while to figure it out
Great work here
I was a disney child definetly.
love it
