Cycle In, Cycle Out

I’m visited by depression,
He’s become my old time friend.
He just shows up on my door step,
I never know just when.

I’ll be really happy,
Having a real great day.
Then depression comes aknockin’,
My blue skies turn to gray.

It’s time to run and hide then,
To set myself apart.
Before depression kicks the door in,
And shoves his dagger in my heart.

I don’t understand depression,
Or what he’s all about,
I just know he’s always been there,
Cycle in and cycle out.

Tomorrow I’m gonna fool him,
I’ll hide behind the door.
Then strangle that gloomy bastard,
And welcome him no more.

And when he comes tomorrow,
Imagine his suprise.
When I jump out of hiding,
And look him in the eyes.

When filled with love and sunshine,
A smile upon my face,
I end his ghostly visits,
Return him to his place.

But today we have to visit,
He’ll drag me down, no doubt.
He may have cycled in for this day,
But tomorrow… he cycles out…….forever.

Anyway I got your E, and replyed.
Oh yea, this is great, in and out, I'd like to strangle him to, Hmmm if I hold him and you just hit him, then we both can tackel he's back side. hahaha...

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

To LuckyinLove....sure that will work, but the positive attitude will be your most attractive asset.  Thanks for asking.

To JJ...thanks guy.  You are so supportive of everyone in the forum...always lots of encouragement.  Looking forward to more of your young perspective on life.

To Joel...yeah buddy...stand back while I open this big can of WhupA**...Today is the day....no more depression.  I woke up to find LuckyinLove....lots of positive mental energy there.  Thanks to all.

too bad tomorrow isn't guaranteed, eh, rock??  i smell ........ what you are cooking, anyway!! hahaha no i don't watch that crap!! anyway, i see it like this... since no telling if i will breathe tomorrow, why let him win today?  then i would die a loser.  i was enough of that in life, i refuse to lose in death.
