What's the point of asking questions,
when no one has the time to answer??¿
In today's society,
the habit is growing like cancer.

Watch the people look at you with hate.
pushing & sighing as they impatiently wait.

Oh my,but we have gotten rude so quick.
Like a slight of the hand,
quicker that the eye,
magic trick.

What a shame it is.

And there she weaves by night and day,
a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson

i do agree with every word in your poem people turn away from one another and the truth about life and what it means like no ones willing to give you a hand anymore. nice piece loved it.

Yes Swamp~, it's great to have you back.
and a great poem to come in with.
yes I did the same thing only I left for two days.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

~Swamp,...welcome back babe. hehe.  This is so true....a long time ago I wrote a poem about something similar...about being on a bus and counting the stops left to my stop...as to run in the house and escape society's hatred.  Made me think of that....and so,...I enjoyed reading this as I feel very much so the same way. And it IS a shame.  Thanks for posting it. *Peace.
