Curse'ed moon.
Used to bathe in the light,
Bask in the glow.
My eyes, up they lift,
Only to see that full, shining face
Laughing at me.
Teasing me with its soft
Comfort,
Knowing no lover and I
Shall roll and dance
Lunar ecstacy
Sanity incredibly
I stand solitare
Beneath rays that bring
Burns eyes can't see.
Remembering when someone
Shared the pain
With me.
We would lick each other's
Wounds,
Bearing bandadges,
Rise up to bravely face
Yet another night.
Profane moon.
Sticking shafts of light
In my memories of plight.

*****kynder

A woman to a man is
But a mere chapter,
But a man to a woman
Is an entire book.--

Those who sing of a lovers moon don't know the pain of staring at that same moon and being alone!! Very nicely said here!

Thanks for the repost Kynder...I enjoyed this very much.  Once in awhile it's nice to poke at the heart with a stick....even though it may be wounded, it still needs a little push every now and then just so it stays alive.  Love the way you pulled it all together........Hardrock

Hey kid. yes I know this moon all to well, and you have said something in this to move me.

My eyes, up they lift,
Only to see that full, shining face
Laughing at me.
Teasing me with its soft
Comfort,

I go out and howl at the moon on lonely nights, people think I'm crazy, they might be ritht but it makes me feel a hell of a lot better than they do.
try it kid. hahaha

HHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLL

Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
