Sometimes Sometimes in life we learn to give, Sometimes we learn to take. Sometimes we’re just the victims, Of the choices that we make. Sometimes we’re all together, Sometimes we fall apart. Sometimes we find the hidden jewel, In matters of the heart. Sometimes the jewel is diamonds, Sometimes it’s simple glass. Sometimes we find no jewel at all, Hidden in the mass. Sometimes we keep on searching, Sometimes we just give up. Sometimes our soul overflows, Othertimes…..an empty cup. Sometimes are never all times, Sometimes never last. Sometimes are never future, They’re always in the past. This time’s what’s important, This time’s in our control. This time’s what you make it, If you can pay the toll. The toll is pain and heartache, The toll is many tears. The toll allows your heart to fly, As you travel through the years. Your heart has wings to carry you, Your heart has much to give.
