Simple it would seem
to break the chains of this love
when it’s not your heart
given to my one and only
White Dove

So I’ll stand trembling
chained to the ground
waiting for endurable pain
to set me free, and then sound.

I’ll howl to the moon
you cold orbed beast
letting my love die
upon this you feast.

So death to you
lovers false moon
leading me coldly astray
with no armor way to soon.

-------------------------------------------
In my search for love with this white dove of mine, I have written many things about her so please don’t get the impression of her as bad nor ?? using me.
She is one of the kindest people I have ever meat, with a heart of gold, yea I know that’s what I’d say but it’s true, she gives of herself more than anybody I know.
Her love of her family is strong, her love is to.
I have seen an inner devotion that is true, unlike most, I just want a little of that.
I know if she ever decides to be with me permanently it will be for ever, that’s just the way I am. and she is to. she is so much worth the fight, and the wait, and the patience, I’m enduring now.
Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

~Joel,...you better be putting all these pieces of you and your heart in a book of some kind. Really.  That second part is so cold and scary. It's image is staining my brain.  hehe. Really though.  Oh and please don't ever think that I think bad things about WD.  You have made her out to be a very loving lady to me. Your poems reflect your pain and suffering...and inner thoughts yeah....but I have always learned that she was a good heart, a loving woman,...and I believed you....I still do.  Please take care. *Peace.

If in my power, I would take away your pain....I know the sting of unrequieted love.  I envy you going forth without the armor....what I had thought my armor has become my prison.  For while it protects me from without, it kills me from within.  No advice to offer on your relationship with WD...I'm just not qualified.  Loved the poem....Hardrock.
