Ok you guys, here is a rare happy one from me.... yikes!! could it be????? heehee

Southern Livin'

Swings on the porch,
Magnolias, gardenias and
Jasmine compete for your nose
And the purpose it serves.
Shades of green vary in
So many degrees--
From tree to bush to vine
To lawn to delicate leaf.
Lavender, pink, orange and
Red--
Colors planted for which your sight
To feed upon.
Breezes from the sea,
Salt, you swear, you can taste
On the wind.
Barefoot is the shoe style,
Summer dresses flutter at the knee.
Shoulders tanned golden brown,
Skin so soft from the sand scrubbing
At the beach.
Live Oak branches beckon,
"Come! Come, climb on me!! See if you can
  hear the stories I feel."
Quaintest little fruit stand you
Ever saw on the corner,
Pace as slow as molasses,
But somehow,
You just don't mind.
Must be all those hearts of gold you find.

Yes. Great poem. I thought I was there, smelt the smells, the breeze on my skin and hair, saw the colours ...

love this one Kynder,
I grew up on a beach with a great tree on the lining of the sea.
I can still smell the salt, hear the gulls, see the tide pools, feel the sand.

Great.

Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
