hands torn
by the roses
you found
he dozes
to the silence
of the ocean's
eternal symphony

I liked this, I mean I really liked this, every time I read it I get something new!

Great poem filled with emotion

 Let nature guide your soul.

Follow the path that nature gives.

I wanted to pull this one back up again because it's so good. I loved it. If you read it through quickly, the "he" is the suitor. But if you look at it closely, the "you" might be also. perhaps he tore himself on the roses "you" placed there for him, and now he dozes in contentment? dreaming, even? Wonderful. I love poetry that's so wide open and yet so concise.
