She didn’t cry when you died
instead,
she waded far out into the salty sea
filling her belly with the bitter taste
of each unpredictable wave,
as it came crashing down upon her.
The hot flames of the unforgiving sun,
singed her hair,
burning holes in her eyes
as she drifted aimlessly with the tide,
headed in no particular direction.
Finally,
when the days turned into years,
there was nothing left of her but fragile bones,
floating on the surface of the rough water
and her heart,
laying in the cold dark abyss below.

"My Heart Will Go On". Very sad and a well  written allegory. My Heart goes out to you if this is a reality to you.

Peace and Love to you, Geoffrey

Wow...
Debbie - what a quality this has - of sadness, and loss. Well written.

This was so painful...
to simply get eaten by the sea like that...and not even breathe a word...
sad...but well written

from which evolves the light...
