            Silent Sweeps

I speak to her in mental sweeps,
In savory signs and silent leaps.
An ambience of muted cries,
But into emptiness it flies.

I seek a traffic with her mind.
A whispered touch of subtle kind
And wait to see the dawning light,
That little bird of innate sight.

An inkling of the smallest reap
Would moist my eyes to tear in weep
One fleeting trace of silent sound.
To send an echo of rebound.

This dove I send in hungry chase
Transcending life in whispered grace
Has driven me to near despair
This bell I dare, she does not share.

So tolls my bell, my soul in swell
Ringing herein my soundless hell.

Excellence as always.   I enjoyed this very much.  It is good to read wonderful rhyming poetry since I can't write it myself.

Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau"

Dear Sy,
I believe this is one of your very best, though there are many that could vie for that position, but the phrases from beginning to end are axtrordinary. My personal poetic "Sy"smograph reads 10 on this one. Must be earth shattering.
