She sure is pretty
She makes heads turn
I can see why you'd want her
How she'd cause your loins to burn.

She's radiant and beautiful
Causes weakness in the knees
Men sweat as she passes
Oh, she's just such a tease.

You are the envy of all
This is so true
You're a handsome couple
There's nothing I can do.

But will she wash your clothes and iron them?
Rub your back and pluck your ears?
Listen how your day went?
And kiss away your tears?

She must be something special
You chose her over me
I wonder if she'll love you
But I have to set you free.

I wasn't enough to keep you
You needed more than me
I hope that she was worth it
Are you happy as can be?

A better pair I've yet to see
Nothing could be finer
But the cowboy of my dreams
Traded me in for a Freightliner!!

Yup, have to pluck those unsightly hairs lol.
Give me the tweezers and let me at 'em!!

It IS really a nice truck though lol...
It would have been much more insulting had it been an ugly truck no????
Have to have a sense of humour about these things

Thanks for the comments, they make me smile

You told it like it is but with such style.. great poem....reminds me of a couple of lines from a song by ..The Little River Band..

"The other guy won't be around
to talk to the kids
He won't pick you up when you're down
the way that I did."

I wrote a poem about this kind of thing it's posted in open 9  It's called Skin Deep
so I know how you feel.

Hi James
Yes, in fact this SHOULD be a sad story..and in real life, it was. I think there's too much "sad" in real life. It's a natural response but sometimes it's ok to look at the lighter side. For me, laughter is the best times.
