I simply do not have the heart
to stand within these rules of game.
Do you not know?
Can you not see?
I stand before you, changed.

Have you not read?
Do you not feel?
My words?  My heart?
Sincerity?
I pray I'm not left, lonely, here...

Did all my hurt
blow past your ear?
Did you not say
you'd dry my tears?
My God, it is too lonely here...
My pen is cursed--
it writes in tears.
Tell me I'm not wrong again.
Lie to me or call me "friend".
Whisper, if I must relent--
must I blow ash of passion spent?

Be merciful.
Be kind to me.
Speak to me
cruel clarity.
Command the tide, "Return to sea..."
Tell me you've no need of me.

Oh Serenity, so sadly-passionate. Filled with Pain. *hugs* Excellent writing! you have my vote

Yes, I am here, but I am dead, not alive,
my body goes on, my spirit has died,
and I though alive, feel dead inside.

A dramatical piece and very well done. So well that I could feel the pain within. Just don't forget we always will need thee.

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

I really think most of the time it does... Did all my hurt
blow past your ear?
