-My Beautiful Storm-

like a beautiful storm you blew into my heart of stone
thoughts of you running through my mind, taking away the feelings of being alone

you've opened my eyes to so much, you've given me back that passionate rush
how I've missed that feeling in my world, how I want so much to be just yours

falling into your life and into your soul
feeling my heart start to mend and grow
then feeling the wall you start to place between you and I
it makes me sit back and just wonder why

how do I turn off these feelings that have consumed so much of my heart and mind
sometimes I wish I could just turn back the hands of time

facing the truth of never having you in my arms again, I start clinging to you as my friend
but knowing this storm has to come to an end,
I realize my worst fear...the loss of my lover and my friend

oh how I will always love my beautiful storm that blew into my heart....even as it rips me completely apart

Cerenity-you are so correct..storms throughout our lives, but I guess that's what makes life interesting.

Bonnie, Heather, & WhtDove-Thank you all for the sweet words. I was shocked to see my poem that was posted a while back on todays topics. How sweet of you to go back and look through the post and find it.

Chris--as always my sweet friend I appreciate your words! I value your views and opinions...so thank you for always being so sweetly supportive.

THANKS AGAIN GUYS!
love & all,
-Holly
