Oh, to Know Love
~Kelly S. McDonald

Love is more than what most people perceive
To really know love, you must believe,
love is…

A familiar look
A knowing glance
A sassy smirk
A long slow dance

A well known touch
that yet still feels new
A spark of fire
between just two

Sharing thoughts, dreams,
and little wishes
Still taking time for
long passionate kisses

A laugh and a giggle
for no special reason
A feeling which grows stronger
with each changing season

A playful teasing
A gentle nudge
A comfortable silence
Never being judged

If I'm lucky enough to find
and really know love
It's something I'll make sure
I never let go of

Kelly,
you've got the right idea!  When you find it. . . never let it go. . .

captivating, Kelly. That's exactly what love should be, you are so lucky that you found it. Treasure it.
