Life's Songs
~*Marge Tindal*~

Life sings of us the songs of mirth
The sweetest song,  life - giving birth
Aria of our youth sung in sweet surprise
Within our hearts soon harmonized

Sings of us through all our days
Joyous melodies sung with praise
Melody of hearts so tender
Pitch us now in sweet surrender

Song of another pierces our soul
Singing love until we're old
Life sings of us sweet lullabies
Kisses us softly then says goodbye

Within a heart our song returning
Hummed now in a heart of mourning
It matters much the song life sings
Caught in the joy of remembering

Life sings of us
sweet lullabies
Kisses us softly
then says
goodbye
