each and every time

are you just a dream
that enters my mind
a sweetness so sublime

when i'm rushing to and fro
you sit in the background
of the very front row

my lips have spoken for you
when you could not
and listened as you talked

in the darkness when I dream
are you there love...
are you there beneath the rain

your a shadow in my thoughts
i've touched you, though i have not
and my finger tips have loved you

each and every time

James~ I really like this, my favorite part-
"are you there beneath the rain
your a shadow in my thoughts
I've touched you, though I have not
and my finger tips have loved you
each and every time"

Very well done. My favorite phrase in the poem is "beneath the rain," and I'm not even sure why. Definitely deserves a place in the book.

Oooooh! What caught my attention most of all in this was:

"when i'm rushing to and fro
you sit in the background
of the very front row"

Great lines
