When the moon breaks through on a cloudy night,
Shining her special beauty for our delight,
You sang to me of your distance past,
And I realised I was home at last.

You offered me the seagull's wing,
So to the stars I might soar and sing,
And if I heard the gull's cry,
By our cape I'd know to fly.

Our love is such a simple thing,
Not filled with untruths wavering,
But like our moon's pull on the tide,
Our fingers touch, and hearts collide.

I'm a moonbeam always by your side,
Always close, I'm by your side,
Although we are not together today,
I'm with you always, only a heartbeat away...

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....

Very tender Lisa! Hearts collide!

Although we are not together today,
I'm with you always, only a heartbeat away

That says it all when we love someone! Only a heartbeat away
