If I Were Going to Need You… If I were going to need you… Would I have done things differently? Stopped myself from pushing you away Maybe give you one chance, To prove your what you say. If I were going to need you… Would I have torn down the walls, Built so high around this cold heart. Leaving the tiniest crack open for your Love to seep in, warming at the start. If I were going to need you… Would I be able let you know? Tell you all the feelings that I Buried so far deep down inside Awakening them from where they lie. If I were going to need you… Would I be able to know for sure? That your sweet loving words That you whisper in the lonely night Would have struck the right chords? If I were going to need you… Would I feel as alone as I do now Wishing I would have just held you Wanting to be able to turn back time Accept what might have been love anew?
