Silken Sheets - Satin Lies
~*Marge Tindal*~

You lay across my memory
as shiny silk upon the bed
Woven as the used-up threads
running through my head

I tuck you in so tightly
then I realize
these silken sheets are covered with
your smooth-as-satin lies

SORRY MARGE......I think it has been retired or something....it was one that Sunny1 sent me of a cowboy singing with a coyote under the moon.  Dont know why it isnt working.  It was earlier.

Lies leave such nasty stains.
Sounds like a job for SHOUT!

I am really taken with this one Marge, to say that it was short, sweet, and to the point would be too much of an over simplification.  Fabulous work! I loved it.
Bye the way, belated congratulations on reaching your 10,000th. An outstanding effort! Your heart and soul shows through in your work, I hope too be around to see much more of your work.
