there is a headache star where poems are born.
my muse shares her medications as a liquor.
count the fourteen steps leading down to the bed.

is anything i'm saying important to the sun?
can the moon understand the fortunes of falling?
she is calling. i can't move. i am not there to hear.

a woman's beauty can be shared by all things
even as the aftereffects can never be yours.
so smile on, sun. until the moon wants us more.

And thus we hang the constellation of her in the sky among all the other shining stars in our memory.  Well written and the flow and message are superb.

Tremendous opening... this is terribly well

Mark and Megan,
Thanks for your replies. I just wanted to write from my head to the paper, and somehow this sorta mini love-story came out. Glad you enjoyed.
