Fulfillment

I placed my footsteps along side
Ancient impressions in the tide.
Footsteps so old they've turned to stone
The rest is gone even the bone.

What puzzles me is time and change
It strikes me as so very strange.
Of all the things that lived and breathed
What was the purpose, what the need?

Why all the fuss of myriad things
Beginning, turmoil, ending brings?
And are the changes good or bad
A question that can drive you mad.

I can only say I don't know
Where by the tide my footsteps sew.
And will in turn, they turn to stone
Only impressions left alone.

Are we simply experiment
Or is our mind the fulfillment?

So why would I come and read this so early in the morning knowing that I would leave with toooooo much to ponder?  Wonderful penning by you as always and now I think this one deserves another cup of coffee and MUCH thought.

~ST,...Ooh I love the questions in this,...love the openness,...the thoughts on air, the way it leaves me doing the same. Truly a great, great read for me. Thank you for that. Take care of yourself. *Peace.

I'll not ponder for a moment, but just to simply say we are loved, and in my stone I would simply want it to say, these footprints I walked were walked for a remembrance of what is to come and if you need walk here feel free if it helps you along life's way.

Seymour

Great read with all these deep big questions that no one really can answer but everyone have asked...

-nando-

Ask me how to live your life, and this to you I´ll say: make your choises true and wise, so that when tomorrow will arise, you´ll smile at yesterday...
