Cool is the whisper,
of breezes at dawn,
The kiss of morn's dew,
on emerald green lawn.

Smell of sweet jasmine,
angelic bouquet,
Soft glow of sun's rising,
advent of new day.

Verdant the meadow,
in morning's begin,
Songbirds awaken,
commencing day's din.

Darkness retreating,
onslaught of the sun,
Helios the victor,
of warmth does forerun.

Alone in the distance,
no jewel can compare,
A single primrose,
pure beauty so rare.

First rays of the sun,
lone primrose encase,
Splendor of nature,
in dawning's embrace.

Mike, I can almost see the dew sitting on the soft petals. Beautiful.

Mike~
Always caught in the beauty of your roses -

'First rays of the sun,
lone primrose encase,
Splendor of nature,
in dawning's embrace.'

You draw the roses so well -
I've only to fill the vases with your fresh bouquet.

Mike,
I couldn't possible pick them.  They have to stay right where they are.
Beautifully written and splendid flow.

What a beautiful bouquet you paint with your words!  I loved the imagery. A primrose by any other name would still be called Mike

Take care,
