Broken

Sometimes it's not what you see, or even what you feel in right to be.
Open your mind to let your heart go free.
Soulmates to find and hearts to break.
Sometimes they'll be your own; or other you take.
Like a dagger through the heart I know the pain.
Can my heart suffer this death again?
It becomes harder every time I try.
My heart cut to pieces again, and I ask myself why?
Here I sit with this pain and sorrow.
My heart feels so empty;..broken and hollow.

My heart feels so empty;..broken and hollow.
I know that feeling too well.
Welcome to Passions.

Cameron, I too can relate to your words, as you to mine. My heart goes out to you. Don't give up, there has to be something better out there.
Again, welcome to this wonderful place.

The opportunity to feel Love outweighs the risk of failure...doesn't seem like it was worth it when the end result is a broken heart...James

Cameron,

Welcome to Passions!!  Very nice first post.  Such sad sentiment here.  Hang in there . . . somewhere out there is the one for you.  Good writing.  Looking forward to reading more of your work.

I love you all, and I thank you so very much for such a warm welcome.

I feel very at home with all of you as my new found friends on Passions.

I may may need a shoulder or two for a while.
As my girlfriend broke up with me on easter.  Its getting better,  but it's not easy by no means.  She was one of the best loves of my life.

Thank you very much too all of you.

And to all of you; I hope all of your hopes and dreams come true.

Hi Cameron....
And welcome to Passions!! I like this first post, and life is sometimes full of pain, unfortunately. You did a great job of writing here, and I hope to see more!

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!
