My Life’s Desire TONI

Anniversary,
Happy thirty years to you
“A Senyru” -  Love you.

To hold, to touch you,
Also, to love you so much.
Is my life’s desire

Each morn, every night,
All day long, all of my might,
Is my life’s desire.

When we are apart,
It is heavy on my heart.
You’re my life’s desire.

The bright of daylight
Or the darkness of the night,
Can’t dim Life’s Desire.

What’s the reason why?
You’re for me to live and die.
You’re my life’s desire.

Thirty years ago,
And for Thirty years to go,
You’re my life’s desire.

A Special Gift
What could I give the love of my life?
To the wonderful woman I call “my wife”.

I wanted to give you the wind,
But I couldn’t catch it.
I wanted to give you the moon,
But my arms couldn’t reach it.
I wanted to give you a love song,
But my voice couldn’t sing it.
I wanted to give you the sea,
But it was impossible to bring it.
I wanted to give you your reflection,
But I couldn’t capture absolute perfection.

It wasn’t on top of a mountain on high,
Or found in any store across this great land,
I couldn’t find it in the valley so low.
Or in the desert in a prospector’s pan.
I searched for it in all of the oceans,
And found far too much commotion.

So after all the searching under the sun,
I searched and I searched,
Until, my searching was done.
I found there’s nothing more priceless in this old world,
Like a house, or a car, or a string of pearls,
To give to my wonderful wife,
Than my promise I’ll love you all of my life.

Melton, Oh! what sweet devotion! Your writing and your sentiments within are what dreams are made of. This will stay with me, and I thank you for reminding me of what is, indeed, possible for some. Many more wonderful years to you and your lucky bride.

Wonderful feelings.
You are both very lucky.
Congrats, my hats off to both of you.
The poem is wonderful.

Yes, I am a lucky man. We are indeed soul mates. I'm happy you enjoyed it and I am proud that she's my wife.
