We talk, write, and think, we often use
Analogies of windows and doors
Through windows in souls we do see clues
Passing though doors to other floors

Or sometimes we dwell on the rain
Or the door is locked, our love is blocked
Rain on the pane reflects our pain
Time runs out and we've been clocked

Mundane subjects may try to ensue
Clutter my mind, the knowledge of
Yet smoldering fervor I find in you
Behind your door I know lurks love

This then is far beyond our controls
And the door we are stepping through
Is the door to our hearts and souls
It is September not May, it's a clue

We've viewed through windows seen true love we know
Should not until December just look in
Seen lasting love bright with ardor's glow
Grasp it we must for it's surely no sin

Sad that young April was not when we met
Sadder the summer saw other mates claim
We shouldn't let Fall go feeling regret
But let our lips join and our passion's tame

Windows and doors, seasons and seasons
I only know that I've met you now
My love goes far beyond reasons
So please on me your love endow

I liked this much, season's window's and doors how wonderfuly tied

If with pen in hand I've made you think
I've not wasted one drop of ink

May I wish you good fortune with your new love...and may I add, I smiled...

Bill--I like the idea of windows and doors...because they happen through out life, don't they...some are locked and some open automatically...

Another look at romance through your eyes and heart...Lovely!
