Memories Of...

My ~velvet eyes~
enticed by you
once upon a time
when blue
remember how
your words caress
and left me often
without breaths

Those places
where your eyes can't rest
inside and feeling
yours, that pressed
words of charm
and sinful deeds
entwine and fill
suffice to feed

Leaving  kissed
and sighing, where
your eyes can't see
your prints left there...
at times, on days
when like this, reign
the myst that covers
eyes again

With happy tears
some sad, that flow
awaiting words
of yours to show...
and rise me then
to heights of bliss
just wanting more,
a lasting kiss...

Memories of
the lips, I miss

Maureen - a beautiful poem of love and loss.  You write so well, and you get even better with each poem.

thank you Long John...

I bounce around in style and flow
but have written about a thousand or so
many much better than those on here
but when inspiration is lost, I fear
the best of me, just doesn't show....

~~soft smiles
Maureen
someday, I will write
with more depth again...

Maureen, you always write so beautifully, because you write with your soul. You may be a bit battered and bruised just now, but that seems to make your words even better. Anyway take care of yourself, soft smiles and warm hugs, Marsha.
