Of candles and fireflies

Like fireflies our candles burn
Within our cavern store.
Each transitory bright an urn
That burns and burns no more.

We multiply by fetching feel
Two lights that will comply
We try and teach the circle wheel
And let the offspring fly.

We cannot pass the boundary line
We live within a sphere
And if we do not redesign
We'll surely disappear.

The firefly will disappear
The candle will go out.
The form will change within the sphere
To me there is no doubt.

I plead the firefly to fly
I pray the candle not to die.

The title is beautiful, and the message is comforting, delicate. The flow in this is amazingly sweet. It just really got to me!

Sy,
this was both light and warm. Keep up the good work.

Great message here - we change or we die, and who wants to die?  I like the flow, and the way you wrote the intro, which led into the theme, and thereby formed the conclusion.  Very tight writing, which I've come to expect from your poetry.

Sy,
the flame will never die, so long as we have the fuel to burn it. . .

Excellent. . .
