Clear, icy cold water, its soft, passive rippling
creating small splashes and droplets trickling
over stones smoothed by currents of time passing.
And as it flows, so go problems and strife
washed gently away, removed from this life.
The misty remains of rapt, cool waves reviving
a spirit too long pulled away from the dancing
to life's refreshing magic of cool waters streaming.

...chanson~

Music, tonal clear & pure,
Caresses the harshest of curves.
-Song of Gesture

This was peaceful and musical--I could hear every trickle...nice way to start my day...

Thank you!

I hope it's not too trite to say this 'flows'
because for me it does - beautifully. both with the words and the thoughts.

Garfield, it's very thoughtful of you to stop in and leave a word or two.

chanson...
You have painted such a peaceful scene here, that I feel like sitting by a stream to wash all the cares away.  I love your writing.....it soothes the spirit!!

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

I wrote this two years ago by a stream, my inspiration I suppose.
Your responses are always appreciated, Sunny!!!
