Gypsy Blue...
You can’t figure out what life is coming to…
Sitting at the window watching raindrops hit the ground...
They just disappear like all the dreams you thought you’d found...
Is there ever going to be a love that stays around?
You feel like a clown now, Gypsy Blue...

Gypsy Blue...
You’re not getting younger and you know it’s true…
All the pain and hunger that you’re feeling deep inside...
Can’t be washed away with all the tears that you have cried...
Time to look around and find a road you haven’t tried...
Pick yourself back up now, Gypsy Blue...

Gypsy Blue...
Somewhere down the road your lover waits for you...
Wrapped up safe and warm inside his heart you’ll finally be...
All the seeds of love in you will bloom for him to see...
He will have your heart, but he will set your spirit free...
All the things you thought of love are true!
He’s somewhere out there waiting,Gypsy Blue...

hi SUNNY1

I am quite impressed with the style of this poem...

The flow of verse and expression content how you delivered to the end of poem is a great write...

Needless to say this one you've penned touches this reader and I thank you for sharing once again.

Somewhere there is a man that has courage to spare
Somewhere there in the future my friend  Gypsy Blue

Hi RA...(I hope you don't mind the abbreviation)...
This is actually a pre-song, as I haven't put it to my synth yet for the melody.  You're good girl.....are you a singer, by any chance?
Thank you for coming by, and always good to meet another blues lady!

Sunny1
you may be singing the blues with this one but you sure ain't writing them. Unless you count the color. Nope not blue at all, red, yellow, purple, green, chartuse, silver yep and especially gold but no blue only deep soul.

~Sunny,...how do I add to all the wonderful things that have been said? Well, first by telling you that your words sing with hope and are beautiful in their reading. You do write so well. Gypsy Blue,...what an image that brings to me,...these words play through my mind, thank you. Take care now. *Peace.
