Whenever songbirds trill a melody
The world again regains its harmony
I join anew the lovely rhapsody
I thought was lost for all eternity.

Whenever rainbows arch across the sky
Reminding me that raging storms all die
My spirit soars again and can’t deny
The hope that’s born within that lifts it high.

Whenever lapping waves caress the shore
And seagulls glide above the ocean’s roar
Serenity sublime rolls on once more;
In peaceful swells my soul is held secure.

Whenever gentle breezes kiss my face,
Surround me in the warmest of embrace,
I think again of you; time can’t erase
The treasures safely stored in memory's place.

Thanks Rebecca! There's nothing quite like the ocean! It somehow puts all of life into proper perspective! I hope we both get to visit it again real soon! Big Hugs to you too!
