Reckoning--
reclusive me.
Beautiful
in beckoning.
Whistling whispered
Siren's Song,
wrestling right
from strong-armed wrong.

Ritual
of ruthless need.
Fettered flesh--
a bargain's bleed.
(Melancholy)
mocking me...
poppies' pull--
the Demon Seed...

Here is where
desires dwell,
famined feast,
to never fill...
I welcome you
to gates of Hell,
every stone,
satanic spell...

A Demon's craft
to have last laugh--
a chain of pain
designed by me...

I'll never forget the words that you posted on one of my very first poems....

"serenity weeps"

I replied "Butterflies Dries"....I'm still here to dry...even as I weep...this one hurt baby~

Love you!

Hi serenity (you sneaky little witch) ... Casting spells again, i see ... well done ... your work is evolving ...

My calling before me, let quill be my offering;
For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive.

Holly---my heart, I am so grateful for the company of butterflies--thank you much for the conversation, and the sheer joy of watching a butterfly flitter....serenity sighs...love ya, to both me girlies.....

Brian---I always have to backspace on your name---I keep typing you as "Brain"---no need
to page Dr. Freud---and, HEY, you seem to be writing with everybody but ME!!!  Pick me next!  OOOooooh!  Pick me?  grins...and thanks.

Mark----big biting grin now---I've been called much worse than a sneaky witch---but the worst, I think, is not to have been called at all...(ahem...) thanks for the comp, as I know that you are a studious and talented poet...and yes, you are a cherished part of Passion's Pet Poets!

MI------methinks you understand...and that is what I strive for...I thank you.

M'deer--I thought of you, believe or not, BEFORE I posted this one...counted every frigging syllable!  and no, not classic poetry, but hopefully, classic me---and I am so grateful for your kindness, always, ever...and BTW---the gates of hell?  They are always appealing...otherwise, there would be no temperance of the soul?  Hugs.

thank you all...I'm off to read...

candles burn down and glow in blue
theres no one I'd rather be hexed by than you.
cast your spell ... send your incantation
theres nothing sweeter than a serenity imprecation.
I've no fear ... your not pernicious
I know your heart ... its venial and solicitous.

Exotic ... erotic ...
prophetic ... poetic ...
let the dance begin.
Speak the chant ...
get under their skin.
ritual ... habitual
confession ... obsession
give them back their misery.
weave your web ...
they wont break free.
emanate ... elucidate ...
mystic ... cryptic
design your tapestry
lift the veil ...
solve the mystery
abregation ... recantation ...
debacle ... debase ...
this ... they always do.
But they wont soon forget ...
the night they crossed you.

*winkie winkie*
I TOLD you there was a full moon

Spell is cast
Hex is done
Heaven wont last
For the one you shun

Such a chant
In which you tell
Upon him you grant
A pass to hell

Painful read and now it is time to go find my shell before your chant finds ME and sends cowboy straight to hell.
