Through the tears I saw you there
The heart of an angel shining through
You took a moment to show you care
As I found comfort in the love of you
~*~
Past the crystal droplets I felt you near
With the arms of strength to hold me tight
With a firm grip you calmed my fear
Held in your embrace till morning light
~*~
Around the liquid healing I hear you call
Soothing voice drawing me out
Keeping me dry as the tears slowly fall
Giving me your voice with which to shout
~*~
Beyond the cleansing fall I sense your stroke
Removing the tears from my eyes
Planting a kiss upon wings long since broke
You lovingly placed a rainbow in my skies
~*~
Replacing tears for stars in the ebony sky
You repainted all the scenes for me
Upon these wings I shall once again fly
Back to where the angels dance wild and free
~*~

**Everyone needs an angel or two**
**Many thanks to mine**

Holly my friend.....you know how much this means to me and to have heard it from your voice meant more than I could ever say.

Through Your Eyes

Through your eyes...
I see much
The depth of your soul
The secrets of your heart

Through your eyes...
I feel all
The warmth of your touch
The gentleness of your kiss

Through your eyes...
I have love
Sharing our breath
Merging our hearts

Through your eyes...
I tell all
My life given over
To my trust in you

Through your eyes...
I offer this
The respect as one
The truth in love

Through your eyes...
I give to you
The passage to me
Through my eyes

   Mark Bohannan

Thank you my angel!!!!!!

Bdc - Terrific imagery and sense of flow.  I love the theme you carry throughout so consistently.  It is obvious you worked hard on this poem to make it work so well.  Great writing!

ButterfiesDC,
I had read your lovely poem and copied the lines below to illustrate what I loved about your poem......

<Back to where the angels dance wild and free>>

Then I read the reply above me pointing out the same hope filled lines. I am glad that I was not the only one to pick out the wonderful message of hope here.

Bravo !

Butterfies dc what a truly glorious poem. Angels are all around, rather like love, but we really need to see them for them to appear. Thanks for giving me a glimpse of yours, take care.

a kiss from fate ... a dance with destiny ...
on wings of a dove...by the gifts of an angels love
somethings are simply just meant to be.
and in the arms of an angel ...
Butterfly finally flys free.

********
this is by far the most beautiful poem
youve ever written...
its exquisite and enchanting
its exceptional ...
but then so is the poet... and her inspiration.
love you

WOW! This is breathtakingly beautiful my sweet friend!  My humble words could never do it justice. Certainly these words were penned by an Angel, the stars shine brightly for you my friend!
