jw - thanks for the read and the comments.  I sincerely hope the "real cute" isn't directed HIS way - lol.

Sudhir - Thank you for that EXQUISITELY - It's rewarding to see that you agree with me as to HIS real character.

Rebecca - HE's been real quiet lately - I suspect I have laid it on a bit too thick and HE is now cowering in fear somewhere.  I shouldn't unleash all my skills on HIM so ruthlessly.

Marge - Rascally scalawag?  Moi?  Surely you see TO WHOM this scathing character assassination was directed!  Thank you for your response - I know I will never live up to those words of praise, for they already belong to others.  Sighh...  I guess the weight of "wonderfully gifted" will always plague me looking around hoping HE doesn't read this piece of self-serving promotion.

serenity - Just the point I was trying to make.  I write for fun; so, it seems to me, my writing should be fun to read (most of the time).  Your affirmation is all the recompense I ask.  Thank you.

Bill - Yanno, I thought of that, then I asked myself - Isn't 'Deer too bold already???  lol

GreaT WIT flows from out your pen.
Jeerful jests BUT nicely done

Trying to do it your way, Mike, made me realize how much effort you put into this one. Thank you, ole friend

Wow, post and riposte at it finest.
Excellent work both of you scallywags. I don't believe I've tried that style. I may have to bone up on it.

Smiling in mornings light as two "GREAT" poets endear themselves to the friendship they have found amongst their wonderful humor.  EXCELLENT effort by the both of you and those efforts were both a success.

Karilea - I feel as if I know you already.  Perhaps, when we take this show on the raod, we can be in a town near you - lol. psst, send me your address and I'll come on by with Lorelei.

Kit - Thank you for those warm comments.  psst, please say you love only me and not that rascally scalawag, Balladeer.  He always gets all the "I love you, Mannnn"s

Heather, Heather, Heather shaking my head in sad wonder, Must you always bring down grief upon your shoulders with these careless comments?  *sigh*  I guess I gotta go to the Dumb Blonde site (again) and get another "true" story out.

Rose - accckkkk!  Your're rightt!  I didn'tt notice the extra letterss untill yourr commentt.  There is no hidden agenda!  Thank you for catching that error - I've edited the poem appropriately.  Big hug for you.  And let this be a lesson for you, too!  From now on, always read my poems as soon as I post them so I can fix all the errors.  OK?

Kethry - Thank you very much for that wonderful encouragement.  I am sure that, when you do try that style, you will excel.

Hey, Nan - there you are!  I'm so glad you caught this poem before it slid into oblivion.  Did you notice I used perfect i(l)am(e)bic meter???  I are larnin' to rite real gud, ain't I?

Mark - Ohhh, geeze...  I was hoping, after your terrific accolades yesterday concerning the "Torch" poem, that you wouldn't catch this piece of fluff.  Welp... there goes the reputation - lol.  Thanks for the compliment.
