You visit in my land of dreams.
Beauty like none I've ever seen.
Drifting on clouds of indigo blue.
Your vision now coming into view.

Gather the sun, the moon, the stars.
Keeping in mind how special you are.
Dreams lying scattered amongst the meadows,
Like the soft petals blown from a gentle rose.

So let the music start to play.
Dream weaver, come, take me away.
The evening skies are turning red.
Two hearts, two souls are now blended.

Beating heart I feel you race,
Each time I feel his warm embrace.
The sapphires that sparkle in the night
Have touched this heart with pure delight.

Floating now on golden wings.
Happy tunes my heart now sings,
As I listened to the midnight serenade.
Then, with the morning sun, the night scenes fade.

Near golden sunsets

Okay, so I'm reading this poem right...and I'm also reading another book at the same time.  And in this book there's a place called Tel'aran'rhiod.  It is a dreamworld in which special people can enter.  These special people are called dreamwalkers and they're born with the ability to enter this place.  Anyways, in this place you can invision anything, whether clothing, places, nightmares, whatever, and it will appear if you concentrate hard enough.  So, yeah, I was thinking about how cool it would be if I were able to go there and what I would do.  I think I would envision myself in DC to visit my girlfriend (she's going to school there) or maybe I'd jet on over to a really tall mountain to catch a gorgeous sunset.  And I would always have on expensive clothing, and everyone would think I was some sort of lord or something.  That would be fun.  Yeah, sorry, I rambled.  Your little nice exciting intriguing little poem made me think about that.

that's all

I concur with Mark.  I like the thoughts, and the flow indicates you worked on this poem before you posted it.  This is a worthy trait, one which I need, since I sometimes work on my poems AFTER I post them - lol.

Thank you Mark.  Appreciate you stopping by and reading.

James, thanks.  I've been in a "dreamy state" lately.

LngJhnAg, thank you so much.  I try to get the tweaks out first, but it doesn't always work.

hi ELOISE,

I'm sighing Lady Poet...

The visions placed here in rhyme...
Swept me to a faraway land...

Lovely expression and I thank you for a splendid night time read.

Eloise~
You've set this mind to dreaming.
These are such lovely thoughts you've laid
before me.

'Drifting on clouds of indigo blue.'

How pretty I find that thought.
Thanks for sharing your pen of dreams.
