Scarf of You

White sheer tulle with golden sighs
Swirling aromas of your every thought
Scented symphony's as it was perfumed
My heart lives in peace having found...
what it has for so long sought

Petals bursting forth in metallic gold
Leaves kissing such in hues of brown
Knowing what stories this scarf has told
Brings a smile from what was once...
                           a broken hearted frown

Shimmering eyes of clear faceted glass
Winking gleefully in memories of afterglow
Sighs and moans in pastel butterfly lips pass
Residing their fate to the destiny of which...
we both have come to know

Heavily stitched realms of this fashion wear
Tender hugs in promises of this life now met
Salted tears swept in currents of loving care
Poured forth thrice in the breathless quivers...
of lover's onslaught of passion's sweat

Through caressing stars and luna's soft hugs
Whispers of calming dreams upon us shall creep
Galaxies dancing across the heart in little tugs
Heaven sent graces in orchestrated melodies...
             turbulent crescendo taking love deep

Morning greeted to the sighs of white musk
Feathering down in waltzes of past eve's crest
Time forever dawning with the approaching dusk
Open hearts closed in acceptance of lover's peace...
                            eternally in our conquered quest

Mark Bohannan

The master of Imagery.....This is so very
beautiful Mark.  The flow and the feel of
this are as light as the wind.  Sometimes
holding something of the ones we love brings
them closer if only in our heart...for that
is really the only place that matters~
Exquisite work!
