Inspired by Sharon's post in the Alley...Thanks Sharon, cause this one's for you!

Seems you're at the crossroads
And you don't know where to turn
Should you take the happiness
Or instead the money earned

"What would make me happy
What would I like to do?
Do I stay just where I'm at
Or follow something new?"

Happiness I tell you
Is far better for your health
If you end up being sick
What good is all that wealth?

Doing something that you love
Even though it's less in pay
Will make your life eventful
And much fuller everyday

Take a chance on something new
Go on give it a try
Better that you do it now
'Cause it's too late when you die

There are so many people I know that I wish
would listen to this advice, but it took me
a very long time to learn it myself...very
wise you are!! Terrific work!!

Thank you Butterfly! It's not always so cut and dried though. Many things have to be thought out, but truly it is better to go for less and be happy than truly miserable.

LOL    Karen I'm glad you enjoyed this! Thanks!

Cuddlez, I'm glad I could help! I would love to write a goodbye one! Seriously!
I would have emailed you but it's not showing.
Give me an email or respond here. Give me a bit more feeling to go with. A sad goodbye?
A regretful goodbye? Knowing you have to do, but not sure how to goodbye?  Let me know, and I'll do my best to get in on paper for you!

Deer that's about right! No, that's exactly right! Thank you...and (((((hugs)))))

Oh how wise! Happiness is, indeed, far better for your health ~ physical, emotional, spiritual, mental. I admire greatly the spirit of this lovely poem, Rebecca.

like I say, growth is what life's about, change is needed for growth. change always brings fear, and fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.
