traces---in
a touch of dark,
linger light's imprint.
graces---three,
a glint of spark,
of chalice kissing chalice brim.
a flash of free,
through depths of me...
--enfolded--
     see, ye, now my wings?
Hear my moan,
  of thing newborn,
     bird that waits
for cue to sing...
  and I have flown
     the skies of free,
tasted moons of mighty mead...

I have done all done can do,
I pray you see the best in me.

wow, Serenity - you wrote this so very well.  I love the complexity in the lines - each line so simple, but taken as a whole, a true symphony.  The composition deserves that you blush... Applause!

well, this was wonderful! The only reason you should blush is because of the high praise this poem is receiving.

Mike-----five words, and oh the effect they
have on me, you poet, you!  I hug
you to my wee little heart!

Mark-----angelheart--Sweet you!  Hugs for the
         warden...LOL...love ya much for all
         that you do.

Wilfred--if your muse gets any more fired up,
         methinks she will spontaneously
combust!!!But I thank you, my most
         generous new-found poet pal!

James----you never fail to warm my heart.
         Thank you!

I'm lapping up praise like a puppy here, and
not ashamed to admit it--grinning like mad--
Thanks to all!  (Gawd, I love this place...)
