Standing here at the crossroads
I wait and long to see
Which path should I choose?
Which one is right for me?
Then I heard these words
Before I made my start
Floating on the gentle wind
"Follow your heart"

I started down my chosen path
Not knowing where it would lead
What dangers would I face?
Would something grow from this seed?
And still those words they sang
Guiding me through the hardest part
And putting my soul at ease
"Follow your heart"

So as you walk the path you've picked
Remember this advice I give
Keep it always close to you
For as long as your soul shall live
When you're standing at the crossroads
And you don't know where to start
Just remember these three words
"Follow Your Heart. . . "

followed your heart.

The heart, a fragile thing, but one that I believe can be trusted in time of decision making. You penned this well my friend. May you always follow your heart and find the peace and happiness you so deserve and desire.

Sven, your wise and encouraging words just seem to trickle and fall into place in this pretty bit of writing. Lovely, kind thoughts, my friend...

This is lovely... I'm not sure why it's dedicated to PDV... but I do know that her heart is one of the kindest and most compassionate in existence!

Oh Sven, this is so beautifully written. I do so wish that it was that easy to do ... sigh. Perhaps I'll print this if you don't mind, as a reminder that someday, I might just take this wonderful advice. Very nicely done Sven!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Seems we have started a 'crossroads' thing here...I'm going to have to think up a new question for the Alley...see if we get more poetry out of it.
