quid pro quo ...

if
atop
the world
upon my perch
with food
in dish
and water
delish

i'd see
that your
wants
would become
my wish

if
aground
the shore
upon my oar
with jewels
in hand
and gems
astrand

i'd see
that your
coffers
would till
so grand

if
abroad
the earth
upon my mirth
with time
in tow
and months
to stow

i'd see
that your
clock
would
quid pro quo

I am moved by the tenderness that you are able to convey with this format...this is sweetened sentiment with a light touch. (I love your "delish")

Enjoyed this very much...
