I was alone

in the mist surrounded
by the tints and hues of the awakening day
it was as intense an experience as irrational emotions
erupting geese flew overhead in a targeted direction barn
swallows cut the cool air and lightly skimmed the ponds
such writing had surely become a life and most of
what was faulty now I see things in light
color and composition of the

surroundings the way
I understand people
the web of sustenance
we set camp that evening near
an aquifer area called “The Tulley” where hung

laced Musci in intimidating webs like strands within the thin clouds
serenading warm sunsets blended together to give away a soft sensual
feeling to the river and surrounding dale we didn’t have to hike very far at
all to ponds called Story Hallows on the backlash of Sawtooth territory
where we set up camp near a quiet stream that evening we were
introduced to backlogged thunders coming through and
as they broke up this awesome quickened light
furtive glance as if the first glimpse or

appearance created in a
spectacular warmth
over the distance

covered
mush

rooms
mountain
showering a
lush green eyed
fauna while cascading

over the South Fork of delectable
spring near paradise valley on eastern
lawns. But if winter, icy hoarfrost
and only Neverlands.

If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name. (Michelle A. Bartley)

Lucky, I enjoyed hearing (I say "hearing" because this piece ~ as do most of yours ~ has more of a conversational voice) about your observations.

"surrounded

Quite lovely, all through.

Ah, my sweetheart, I enjoyed this one much!  We've both had rather a dry spell, and it's marvelous when those creative juices begin flowing again, isn't it!  I love it when your poems take me on journeys of beauty!

Sudhir_I don't know what to say..! thank you my friend.

tracie66_Nice to see you, thanks

Meadowmuse_Hi Claire, always nice to hear you, hope everything is well with you.

Rosemary my sweet, I enjoy you so very much.

Martie_I don't feel so lucky... I'm taken to
a place that I have not traveled in many eons
shown monutain vistas of great mounds of junk.
I don't know how my parents ever moved with us
kids and all their treasures. I'm still around,
just rather busy but you can be sure I'd rather
be writing... Love and prayers, Dale

Thank you all so much... lucky
