His breath slow and sure
Moonlight draping upon his body
Caressing his skin
As he lies
In the depths of a dream

How I long
To brush his hair away
From his handsome face
A gentle smile upon his face
Looking so peaceful

I watch silently
As the moon passes
Upon the sweetest man
I have ever laid eyes on

Artistic,

Welcome back!!  This was beautiful writing.  I can almost see him there myself.  So tender and full of longing.  Perfect.
