The Legend

lives on from a

mother on down to a begotten son with
country parents always hanging around, born
to howl—may be somewhat dubious, but the lyrics
herein were found, as evidenced on the extraordinary
mountain cliffs of Idaho and are indisputably scraps of
lateness. It’s so nice to explore the arts of living on the
soil of poetry blues and prose after all it is your ballad
no matter how shallow and silly going not much soul
to it and I know how people get tired of being told
it kind of conservative and loads of other people
are too on its own terms—established formally
by the voice dominated screaming at you
with fourteen streaming audio midi’s to
bring you their precious love which
might I say is truly a triumph &
every bit as undeniable as
these rainy day blooz
sitting on cobbled
stones counting
time and tones
of then just reeling
like your dry & rid of me

then lonely turns to walk away
but suddenly realize they were
clearly only abstractions which
could be real so you keep
on jaunting down the
passage.

If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name.  (Michelle A. Bartley)
