A Kiss From the Stars

A kiss from the stars in sky of night
Healing kisses sent aloft in the wind
Searching for the love hidden in fright
Two hearts bonded as one would intend

Destiny calls out once in the voice of dance
Fate calls out twice in the patter of heavens tears
Lost heart with soul in the hands of time given chance
Falling softly against the walls of yesterday's fears

A kiss and a hug bringing peace to your thought
Of the sins cast upon you through centuries of lust
The love that you need is the one that you have fought
The love that stands behind you begging for your trust

Ease out the terror buried deep among the measures of pain
Renew your heart and your dreams in the sky of the night
In the us all of your demons and ghosts will be slain
Walk forward with heart as you head toward the light

Angel kissed destiny written among all the fallen stars
Tender love wrapped in blankets of this mornings dew
Heaven's pure blessings massaging all your old scars
As on this day you awake...with me in love with you

This is incredibly lovely Mark! You've woven such tender words of love and trust, begging to be received and taken in their genuine offering. What beautiful words you've penned in this!

It is poetic and just that the LAST reply I do in here for awhile be to this poem...
I promised you the most honest read I've ever given you ...
Well then Mark Christopher, poet and healer of my soul ...
I think this is my favorite to date and one of your best ...
it was written with your heart and soul devoted ...not your poets pen.
I wish you could have seen the smile on my face --
as I read the lines above that I marked with **
I have seen the light you offer ...
I have grown and healed in its glow
I believe in you ...
my gift to you in return would be ...
that you see your self thru the eyes
of those who love and know you best...
two of which are mine ...
Thank you for the peace you sent to me in the wind lastnight ...
and for holding my hand in my lost moment ..
About 4 this morn ...I went for a drive ...
I saw the stars for the first time in a very long time ...
I saw your smile there too.
No one wants {this} more for you than me
somethings are meant to be ...
I love you MC...
thank you for defining friendship in my heart.
Like I keep telling ya cowboy ...
you are so cool.

Karilea-As long as they can still pen their poetry then things are as they should be. Thank you my friend.

WhtDove-Wow right back at you.  Your reply has made me both smile and blush and that ain't easy to do to a cowboy let me tell you.  Thank you so much.

Kit-Thank you for that and for reading EXACTLY what is in it.  You are a lovely soul my friend.

Rex- So happy to see you smile and thank you much.

Marge-As close to my heart as you are I would be worried if you couldn't hear it.  Thanks love.

Rosebud1229-Next time you want me to light up the sky for you just let me know. Thank you so very much for that wonderful reply.

JM-My sweet dearest friend.  I love everything about you and you know that.  I know your wishes for me and my love as her and I travel this path we are on and I thank you so very much for your love and support during all of this.  Have I told you how very proud I am of you for ALL the things you are doing in your personal life to get things caught up?  Well with each one you accomplish it is I who gets much satisfaction and honor as you have been holding true to your word in getting things done.  You my friend deserve the world and when you want that moon painted BLUE you just let me know.  Love you my dear friend as does my sweetheart...you know we would both hug the stuffings out of you if we could right now.  Now......not to be tooooo tuff on you.....STAY OUT OF THE FORUMS my tender friend or those cuffs are being replaced with a straight jacket.lol   couldn't resist that.

Denise- Thank you so much for that and for you.

Sunny-I LOVE it when you bow like that instead of curtsy....just don't get up so quick ok?....      Seriously...thank you for your dedication to my posts and your always kind replies.

Between you and me...weekends suck baby!!
And missing the chance to read this
beautiful poem until now is one MORE reason
for that opinion
This is beautiful...all your work touches my
heart deeply but this one is in a class
alone.  Your heart and soul are poured into
every line and the beauty of them shines
through...you are such a tender sweet
man..your poetry would shows that...but I
already knew

Mark, this is the poem that every woman who has had to endure betrayal of love, trust and heart should have written for her. I know you didn't write it for me, and please forgive me, but for just these few minutes, I pretended it was mine, and I felt what it might be to feel loved. Thank you...your lady is blessed.

Mark, your expression is beyond eloquent here and truly, your poem gives much warmth to many a heart including moi of course   and upon finishing the read, one is left feeling like they're swirling in a dreamlike state where for a moment they've somehow embraced the pure essence of true love you've expressed so magnificently here...
