Mr Romantique meets Miss Passivity

What do you do when you miss someone and they don't seem to care?
What do you do when every thought of them reminds you just how much you care?
What do you do with the romantic feelings burning within your heart?
Knowing that when Mr. Romantically meets Miss Passivity there's no chance at all for love to start.
Oh sure, you can stick around a while and hope the Love will grow real slow.
Or you can step back and wait til the time is right hoping perhaps she'll let you know.
Or you can simply say goodbye right away assuming by her inaction Miss Passivity would probably prefer for you to go.

Jamielee,
This poem had a different metre to what I'm used to but the passion in it more than made up for it. Really lovely poem.

Be well

but it is the loss that shapes the image,
gathers the flowers weaves the garland."-

James, I wish I knew what we are supposed to do in such situations. You certainly summed up the dilema. Excellent poem.

James - If she's that passive now, just imagine what it will be like a few years down the road.  She'll treat you like you're Balladeer.  Dump her now!  Find somebody who has a passion for life, is excited by life, and who you can't match stride for stride.  For example, there are women in these Forums who would tear you up and spit you out with their incredible zest for life.  Passive?  To heck with that!  Find somebody who has something inside them besides a couch and a gallon of ice cream.
