Of pebbles and Flowers

This shrine
of pebbles and flowers
of shrubs cut to
pretty shapes, my eyes
fall upon

believing you
are there, as tears
stream down the
fleshy hill
of my face

a trembling voice
utters words of
what might have been
leaving us
voiceless

Mum stares into
Neverland and
Dad cries his regrets
and they fall
into your earth
your home

I ask again

Why? Why only you?
Why not me?
Why not both of us?

then, I look
at our parents
and think, they
needed one of us,
and I guess

I chose to stay

DA this is so sad. One day you shall understand the reasons. Know that she watches over you all the time.

Biggest Hugs my dear friend!

Mmy.

My dear sweet friend...she's back haunting your heart hon?

She is always there, with you. I know it. You have heard her.

I am sorry for your pain, for the missing you feel of someone you never knew who should've been the closest one to you in your life.

This is a beautiful tribute to her.

Hold her to you hon and like Becs said you will know one day, why.

Love K
