Tenderness of my Heart

I can't make someone like me so I won't even try
but if you put your arms around me I would wonder why.

I can't make someone care for me when they pass along my way
can only tell them how much I care for them and hope they care to stay.

I can't make someone need me the way that I need you
can only share the desires I feel for you and hope you need me too.

I can't make someone Love me with tender feelings to impart
I only know that deep within my soul these feelings grow
in the tenderness of my heart.

Thy tender heart beats to a sound
Of passion and love for one to be found
Thy spirit soars atop silken clouds
Peeking through not knowing when to land
Until the day true love touches thy hand

May I say once again that your poetry from heart is sooo appreciated.  Many a time I read your rhymes and you inspire a reader with thoughts N dreams...

Thanks James for sharing

You speak from the tenderness of your heart.
Thats what makes a poem flow right from the start.
Just speak your true fealings down to send.
You'll one day find what your looking for in the end.
Very well written
