You hunger for my stroking hand,
Arch higher as you cannot stand
The sweet caresses, all unplanned
As I hold you there in my command.

In joy I stroke and caress,
You rise higher as I bless
Your sweetest center, your nexus,
As I draw you in and watch you crest.

Your sweet voice in soprano rings,
As my knowing strokes, eliciting,
The raging passions that you bring
From deep within your sweetest being.

We plunge ahead as we surrender,
Loving all that our love renders.
Kisses, strokes, fires sinter,
Each capitulation softly tendered.

The roaring of the flames grows higher,
We drive each other into the fire,
Our bodies one as we aspire,
To give in not out to our desire.

Swept up into passionate release,
We use our love to give us peace.
And, oh, the energies released,
When our bodies meet in this heat.

Your body aches to meet mine where,
Crashing hard, our skin bare,
We are suspended in scented air,
As you shake hard and I spend there.

The early eve sweeps into night,
In raptured love we know is right
We hold each other ever tight,
As our souls meld in the bight.

The night rolls in and takes us then,
Carries us to dreams and yen.
And, oh, that we not come back again,
From the place where our love's been.

The early morning finds us asleep,
Me spooned with you in my arm's keep,
As you murmur with your voice so sweet,
"I love you, my Mike."

I love you, my Susan.

He's as perfect as any man can be
And now I sure you all do see
Why I Love this man with all my might
And keep him marching in the right.

All kidding aside...I count my blessings one by one that this man is mine and by my side.  Mike, your words grow more precious with each line you write.

I'd ask if I could borrow
on the e'en of the morrow
but then I would be mortified
as Lorelie she be by my side

and say "you knew him WHEN?"
and I would say "when he was kitty-kickin..."

LJA...do it well...and always with the most wonderful woman by your side...Lorelie...you one lucky female, YOU!

This is wonderful!! It's so great that Lorelei can let my name slip out in a moment of passion and have it go unnoticed..hehe. Keep thinking she means you, LongJohn, it's more fun that way

Now, as far as the poem is concerned.....it is TERRIFIC!!!

Simply beautiful - worn out word - but no less could express  the exquisite tenderness - I found in this paean of love.
